Exercise got too hard?

fitvee is made for the reasons people stop.

  • The workouts got too hard

Jumping, fast floor work, an hour at a time. Your body asked for something gentler.

  • Stiff by lunchtime

Knees, back or hips that feel it after sitting or standing a while.

  • Too many choices

A hundred programs, when all you wanted was one short routine a day.

How it works.

One short session a day, on your phone, at home.

  1. The start screen: Day 1 of 28, 7 minutes, 5 moves. Ready? Shoes on, a counter within reach. Start.

    Press start

Today's session, ready when you are.

  2. Move 2 of 5, Tai chi opening: arms float up, palms sink down. 36 seconds left.

    Follow along

Each move with a cue, and an easier option.

  3. The check-in: did you do today's session? Yes, all of it. How did it feel? About right. Done.

    Check in

Two taps. Tomorrow follows your answer.

Made for the body you have now.

No jumping. In tai chi walking and chair yoga, nothing on the floor and a hand on the counter, the wall or the chair whenever you need it.

  • A woman sits on a chair against the wall, eyes closed, her hands resting.

    Gentle, at your level

Every move has an easier version, so you start where you are and build up from there.

  • Two women walk across a garden lawn, laughing.

Just a few minutes a day

A short session at home, then on with your day.

  • A woman takes a slow step at her kitchen counter, one hand resting on it.

No getting down on the floor

In tai chi walking and chair yoga you stand at the counter or sit on a chair, with something to hold on to.

The research on moving more.

Some activity is better than none. Short sessions make it easier to start.

  • 23%

fewer falls when older adults exercise

  • 17 to 23%

lower risk of death for adults who meet the guidelines

  • 2 days

a week of strength work: what adults need

  • 150

minutes a week of moderate activity: what adults need

The WHO puts it the other way around: adults who don't get enough activity have a 20 to 30% higher risk of death than adults who do. Turned around, that's a 17 to 23% lower risk for those who do.

Questions, answered.

Which plan is for me?

Tai chi walking and chair yoga are gentle plans for women after 40. Calisthenics is a bodyweight plan for men.

Each plan starts with a few questions about you and how active you are. How it works has the rest, in order.

Every plan starts at your level, and every move has an easier version. Want to try one first? Today's walking workout and today's chair yoga are free, with no sign-up.

If you haven't been active for a while, or you have a health condition, an injury, balance problems or pain, talk to your doctor before you start.

How much does it cost?

$6.93 for your first 7 days, then $38.95 every 4 weeks, until you cancel.
